The 50th anniversary of United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) will be celebrated at a colloquium in Yaounde (CAMEROON) on 24 and 25 May 2017. The colloquium “UNCITRAL AT 50 AND ARBITRATION IN AFRICA” will be held under the distinguished patronage of the Government of Cameroon and with the support of the APAA.  

Mr. Gaston KENFACK DOUAJNI (Cameroon), current President of UNCITRAL has worked during his one-year mandate, for a better African presence in UNCITRAL, as well as to promote UNCITRAL instruments in Africa.
